Edwards Academy provides music lessons for students ages 5 and up with instructors experienced in teaching Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM), pop, jazz, or classical music.

We provide instruction in the following instruments: piano, voice, guitar, ukulele, recorder, woodwinds, and theory.

Benefits of Music Education

Music can positively affect us at the mental, physical, cognitive, and societal level. It can provide us intellectual activity and involvement, culture, language (music notation), math (rhythm), physical coordination (immediate response within the body) and it incorporates all of these factors into an art which is accessible to everyone.

Music is one of the most wide-spread and inclusive subjects a student can take, and it provides incredible benefits to the developing mind. Music training can help children with language and diction, reading, social skills, self-expression, independence, confidence, and is fundamental to the development of the individual.
